The conference kicked off with a keynote speech by Prof Nichola Rumsey who has been at the core of developing the project’s training materials. She referenced the project during her talk which focused on developing resilience, central to some of SCR4Cleft’s training modules. Later in the week, Gareth Davies from the European Cleft Organisation, coordinating the project, presented a paper on SCR4Cleft which was very well received. Delegates have been requesting further information and plans are already shaping up for the course to be run as a national training event in Romania and Spain.
